Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start a plot. Everything is saved on your phone.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Lampwerk works offline, AR included, so it's fine in a basement or on a remote location.
Which iPhones can tag in AR?
AR tagging works on any iPhone that supports ARKit. The wireframe of the room, which shows what's been scanned, needs an iPhone Pro with LiDAR. Without it you still get the floor dot and the tags.
How do I line AR up with a floor plan?
Add the plan first. Tap the room size under the plot's name, then add it from Photos or Files and set the width in metres. When you tap AR, pick two spots on the plan that are easy to find in the room, like a door frame and a corner, as far apart as you can. Then tag the same two spots in the room before you tag talent. The lamps land on the plan.
AR can't find the floor.
Move the phone slowly and point it at the floor. It needs some light and some texture to lock on, so a plain, shiny or very dark floor takes longer. A rug, a mark or a sandbag helps.
How accurate are the light readings?
They're estimates from each lamp's published output, beam angle, modifier and gel, using the inverse square law. Use them to plan, then check with a meter on the day.

How do I move my plots to a new phone?
Plots come across with an iPhone backup or Quick Start when you set up the new phone.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the plot in the app, or delete the app. We hold no copy. See the privacy policy.
