Who we are

Lampwerk is made by Eltio Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy covers the Lampwerk app for iPhone and this website.

What the app keeps

Plots, lamps, setups, notes and any floor plans you add are saved only on your device. The app doesn't ask for your location, contacts or photo library, and it doesn't send anything to us or to anyone else.

Camera

Lampwerk asks to use the camera when you tag a set in AR. iOS shows our reason: “Lampwerk uses the camera to tag where lamps stand on set.”

The camera picture and the scan of the room stay on your phone while you tag. Neither is saved or sent. What the plot keeps is where you tagged talent, the camera and each lamp, and each head height.

Floor plans

A floor plan is a photo, image or PDF you pick yourself. Lampwerk sees only the one you pick and saves a copy on your phone with the plot. Remove it from the plot and the copy is deleted.

What leaves your device

Nothing, unless you send it. Lampwerk has no accounts and no servers, and works without a connection. When you send a gaffer sheet, plan image or text list, it goes only where you choose through the share sheet.

If you've agreed to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. They don't identify you.

Purchases

If Lampwerk offers paid features, they're bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your card or Apple Account.

This website

This site has no cookies, analytics or forms. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address the way any website you visit does.

Children

Lampwerk isn't aimed at children, and it collects nothing from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete a plot in the app, or delete the app, and it's gone. We hold no copy.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes, and we'll say what's different in the app's update notes. Questions go to hello@eltio.studio.
